AQW282S is a 2-channel PhotoMOS relay in SOP 8-pin package that provides high-sensitivity switching with low ON resistance for general-purpose applications. The device can control a maximum load current of 0.35 A (or 0.5 A when using only one channel) at 60 V with a typical ON resistance of 0.85 O and maximum ON resistance of 2.5 O, requiring only 1.8 mA typical LED operate current. It features stable operation with no metallic contact parts, an off-state leakage current of only 1 µA, and I/O isolation voltage of 1,500 V AC, operating reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The AQW282S is ideal for modem, telephone equipment, security equipment, sensors, and amusement applications where reliable, low-cost switching with minimal power consumption is required.
