The 2985974 is an INTERBUS proxy designed to seamlessly integrate a complete INTERBUS system into a higher-level control system with PROFINET functionality. It features an integrated 4-port Ethernet switch and supports PROFINET update rates as low as 1 ms. The device handles data exchange, diagnostics, and parameterization via the PROFINET protocol and supports LLDP for network topology detection.
