The SAR-M is a stat-A-REST™ Foot Grounder, a medium-sized ESD footwear component designed to establish a reliable path-to-ground for removing electrostatic charges during handling of ESD-sensitive items. It features a non-marring thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) base with a 30-inch conductive 8-strand nylon polyester grounding tab that connects the wearer to ESD flooring systems. The SAR-M meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliance requirements with point-to-ground resistance of less than 1 × 10? ohms per ESD SP9.2 and ESD TR53, and footwear/flooring system resistance of less than 3.5 × 107 ohms per ANSI/ESD STM97.1.
