The 103638-8 is an AMPMODU MTE receptacle assembly designed for wire-to-board and wire-to-wire interconnect applications in industrial equipment including computers, medical instruments, automotive controls, and telecommunications systems. This connector features insulation displacement contacts (IDC) or crimp snap-in contact options with latching and polarization capabilities, available in multiple plating options (15 µ" Au, 30 µ" Au, or Matte Tin). The assembly supports 2–25 positions per row with a wire gauge range of #22–#30 AWG for IDC configurations and #20–#32 AWG for crimp snap-in contacts, operating at a maximum current rating of 3 amps per single contact in free air and 267 V operating voltage. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +105°C, with a high-temperature option available for surface mount (SMT) compatibility. This product is ideal for cost-effective, low-to-medium volume applications requiring flexible wire gauge accommodation and manual assembly labor.
