The 1-292173-4 is an AMP CT SMT box-type horizontal-mount connector header with solder tabs and locating boss, part of TE Connectivity's 2.0 mm pitch AMP CT connector series. This surface-mount header is designed for wire-to-board interconnection applications and features tin plating for reliable solder joint formation. The connector supports 2 to 9 positions (dash numbers -2 through -9) and is compatible with both mass-terminated (MT) and crimp contact systems, offering flexibility in termination methods. The box-type design with front and back walls provides polarization during mating and unmating, while the locating boss ensures proper PCB alignment. Operating at 125 V AC/DC with current ratings ranging from 1 A to 4 A depending on wire gauge (22–30 AWG), this connector is ideal for digital data networks, harness assemblies, and general-purpose interconnect applications requiring compact, reliable miniature connections.
