1566230-1 is an ultraminiature coax (UMCC) PCB receptacle designed for RF coaxial connector applications. This Style A receptacle features a mated height of 2.00–2.50 mm and mates with UMCC Type II/III connectors, as well as HIROSE U.FL/U.FL(v) Series connectors. The receptacle offers a small PCB footprint of 3 mm x 3 mm, surface mount and reflow solderable construction, and excellent RF performance up to 6 GHz with 50 Ohm characteristic impedance. The center contact is made of brass or phosphor bronze with gold plating, and the insulator is LCP material rated UL94V-0. Common applications include wireless LAN, Mini PCI, mobile antenna/GPS systems, PDA/PCS/cellular handsets, and wireless communication systems.
