The THS50100RJ is a 50-watt aluminium-housed wire-wound power resistor designed for high-power dissipation applications requiring rapid heat transfer to a specified heatsink. It features a maximum working voltage of 1250 V DC or AC rms, a dielectric strength of 2500 V AC peak, and an ohmic range from 0.01 O to 50 kO with 5% standard tolerance. The resistor exhibits excellent long-term stability with ±1% resistance change over 1000 hours and a temperature coefficient of 30 ppm/°C (above 100 O), with an insulation resistance of 10,000 MO minimum in dry conditions. It is mounted on a standard heatsink with 53,500 mm² area and 1 mm thickness, featuring 2 mounting holes for secure installation.
