The W8S-P012 is an 8-way green wedgelock designed for TE Connectivity's DEUTSCH DT series connectors with enhanced seal retention. This wedgelock features integrated hooks that hold the interface seal in place from the front, working in conjunction with a groove on the connector housing to secure the seal. The design enables robust attachment and contact alignment confirmation when used with 8-cavity DT connector plugs. The wedgelock supports contact size 16 rated at 13 amps and accommodates 14–20 AWG (2.50–0.50 mm²) wire gauges. It is compatible with rectangular thermoplastic housing connectors available in in-line, flange, or PCB mount configurations. This wedgelock is commonly used in industrial and commercial transportation applications where sealed connectors must withstand heavy vibration, dirt, chemicals, and water spray in harsh field environments.
