The D-142-65 is a SolderSleeve shield terminator designed to provide an environmentally protected connection for cable shields. It features a heat-shrinkable, radiation cross-linked modified polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve, a pre-fluxed solder preform, and two meltable thermoplastic sealing rings for environmental protection. This component is engineered to operate within a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. It is designed for application on cables rated for at least 105°C with tin or silver plated shields, and its assemblies meet the requirements of Raychem specification RT-1404 and NAS-1747.
