The D-436-95 is a multi-wire splice sealing sleeve designed to create an immersion-resistant seal on 2-to-2, 2-to-3, or 3-to-3 wire connections. It consists of a transparent blue, heat-shrinkable, radiation cross-linked modified polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve with an integral seal and a separate three-wire seal made of immersion-resistant thermoplastic. This part is designed for use with Raychem D-609 series crimp splices in wires that have insulation rated for a minimum of 125°C. The D-436-95 meets the requirements of MIL-S-81824, ensuring high reliability in demanding applications.
