66L060 is a subminiature bimetallic disc thermostat in an 8-pin DIP package designed for accurate and reliable temperature sensing and switching on printed circuit boards. This single pole/single throw device features open on rise (limit) operation with a factory-preset operating temperature of 60°C (±5°C tolerance), gold-plated contacts, and positive snap action. The thermostat offers contact ratings up to 1A at 120VAC or 48VDC with up to 30,000 life cycles, and achieves 100,000 cycles at low-level gold contact switching. It is sealed with high-temperature epoxy to withstand wave soldering and board washing operations. Common applications include computers, computer peripherals, aircraft, automotive, and test equipment for thermal protection and alarm functions.
