The S01-01-R is a SolderSleeve™ Shield Terminator designed to make an environment-resistant shield wire-to-wire termination on cable. Transparent, heat-shrinkable insulation sleeve constructed of radiation cross-linked polyvinylidene fluoride. S01 series without ground lead meets the performance requirements of SAE-AS83519 (MIL-S-83519/1). The M83519 (S01) series terminator contains a colored thermochromic temperature indicator that exhibits a distinct color change when surfaces have reached wetting temperature. This color change gives both manufacturing and Quality Control an aid in the inspection of the completed termination.
