The 5857-YELLOW-100 is a single-conductor hook-up wire designed for the internal wiring of electronic equipment. It is constructed with an 18 AWG, 19-strand silver-plated copper conductor and a nominal 0.010-inch wall of yellow Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) insulation. This wire is rated for 600 VRMS and has a wide operating temperature range of -60Â°C to 200Â°C, ensuring reliability in demanding thermal environments. Compliant with MIL-W-16878/4 (Type E) and UL AWM Style 1213 standards, it is suitable for high-temperature applications in military, aerospace, and industrial electronics.
