The D-436-83CS2705 is an in-line splice sealing system designed to create an environmentally sealed, immersion-resistant connection for a maximum of two wires per side. It consists of a nickel-plated copper alloy crimp splicer and a transparent blue, heat-shrinkable modified polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve with thermoplastic meltable sealing rings. This blue color-coded splice accommodates a single wire range of 20-18-16 AWG and a multiple wire conductor area of 0.53 to 1.34 mm². Designed for use with wires having insulation rated for at least 135°C, this splice meets the performance requirements of AS81824/6, making it suitable for robust applications.
