The 1808-5F is a Pro-Wick desoldering braid used for efficient solder removal in PCB production and repair environments. This model features a #1 size braid, which has a width of 0.035 inches (0.9mm), and is provided in a length of 5 feet (1.5M). It is coated with rosin flux to ensure the fastest possible wicking action for high-volume applications. The braid is supplied on an ESD-safe bobbin to prevent static discharge and protect sensitive electronic components, and it meets or exceeds MIL-F-14256 Type R standards.
