The AST3TQ-40.000MHZ-1 is a precision surface-mount Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) designed to provide a stable 40.000 MHz clock signal. This specific model features a high frequency stability of ±100 ppb over a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It provides a standard LVCMOS square wave output and exhibits excellent phase noise characteristics, with a typical RMS jitter of 400 fs measured over a 12 kHz to 20 MHz bandwidth. Housed in a compact 7.0 x 5.0 x 1.9mm package and operating from a nominal 3.3V supply, it is ideal for applications requiring high timing accuracy, such as WiMax/LTE base stations, GPS tracking with hold-over, and test and measurement equipment.
