MOV-14D102K is a 14 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. This device features a nominal varistor voltage of 1000 V with a maximum continuous voltage rating of 625 V r.m.s., a maximum peak current of 1100 A at 8/20 µs class current, and a maximum peak energy absorption of 1650 J. The varistor exhibits a fast response time of 10–25 ns, high current handling capability, and operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
