GLD-5 is a fast-acting indicating fuse designed for power electronic circuits where visual confirmation of fuse opening is required. The fuse features a 5-ampere rating at 125Vac with a 10kA AIC (Ampere Interrupting Capacity) and is housed in a 1/4" x 1 1/4" (6.3mm x 32mm) package with an albaloy-plated indicating pin that ejects upon fuse opening. The fuse meets UL Listed standards (Std. 248-14), CSA certification, and CE compliance, with dimensions of 1.27" (32.2mm) when not blown and 1.44" (36.5mm) when blown. This non-time-delay fuse is ideal for applications requiring immediate visual indication of circuit protection activation, such as power distribution systems and electronic equipment where operator awareness of fuse status is critical.
