<p>The 135-104LAF-J01 thermistor from Honeywell features a rugged DO-35 glass encapsulation and comes with high temperature capability. This cost-effective device is available on tape and reel. Thermistors are resistors which are thermally sensitive in nature and exhibit significant changes in electrical resistance due to corresponding change in its body temperature.</p>
<p>This Honeywell Thermistor is used in a wide variety of applications including computers, automotive equipment, communications, consumer electronics and PCB temperature sensing. The materials used in a thermistor are polymer or ceramic, whereas the ones used in resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) are pure metals.</p>
