MDM-9SBSP is a 9-contact Micro "D" metal shell socket connector designed for reliable interconnection in electronic assemblies. The connector features a gold-plated copper alloy contact material with crimp termination, an aluminum shell with yellow chromate/cadmium over nickel finish, and liquid crystalline polymer insulation for the 9-contact arrangement. It supports a maximum current rating of 3 A and provides a dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, with an insulator resistance exceeding 5000 megohms. The connector is rated for 500 mating and unmatting cycles at up to 500 cycles per hour, and operates reliably across a thermal shock range of -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for demanding aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring robust signal and power distribution.
