The KXT321LHS is an ultra-low profile top-actuated tactile switch from the KXT3 Series, designed for compact electronic applications requiring reliable momentary action switching. It features a minimal footprint of 3.0 × 2.0 mm with a thickness of only 0.6 mm, making it ideal for space-constrained devices such as wearable electronics, in-ear headphones, mobile phones, and hearing aids. The switch offers an operating force of 160 ± 50 gf with a travel distance of 0.13 ± 0.05 mm and is rated for 500,000 cycles of operation. Electrically, it supports a maximum voltage of 15 VDC with a maximum current of 20 mA, contact resistance of = 500 mO, and operates reliably across temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. The switch employs SPST (single-pole, single-throw) normally-open contact arrangement with G-type SMT terminals and is lead-free, RoHS-compliant, and halogen-free with silver-plated contacts.
