The 3448-3024 is an optional 24-position plastic strain relief for 3M's 3000 Series wiremount sockets. This component provides mechanical support for .050" pitch ribbon cables at the termination point, isolating the Insulation Displacement Connector (IDC) interface from mechanical stress.
