The socket features a glass filled polyester (PBT) insulation rated UL 94V-0, copper alloy contacts with gold plating (30 µ" on wiping area) and nickel underplating (100 µ"), and stainless steel J clips for high cover retention. It accommodates 26 and 28 AWG solid and stranded wire, with current ratings up to 4.75A per line for 26 AWG.
