89124-0101 is an IDC ribbon cable socket from the 3M 891 Series, designed for terminating 0.050" pitch ribbon cables. This 24-contact socket features a 0.100" x 0.100" contact pitch, phosphor bronze contacts with 50 µ" nickel underplating and 30 µ" gold plating in the wiping area, and accommodates 26 and 28 AWG stranded wire. The socket is constructed with glass filled polyester (PBT) insulation rated UL 94V-0, operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, and offers insulation resistance greater than 1 × 10?
