The 1854-BK005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical connections and wiring applications. It features a 24 AWG tinned copper conductor with a nominal 0.010" PVC insulation wall, providing an overall diameter of 0.044 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 600 V RMS operation and complies with military specifications MIL-W-76B TYPE LW (90°C / 300 V RMS) and MIL-W-16878E/1 (105°C / 600 V RMS), with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. Key electrical properties include a nominal inductance of 0.05 µH/ft and a conductor DC resistance of 25 O/1000ft at 20°C.
