F2213/8-WH004 is a heat shrinkable tubing product manufactured by Alpha Wire, designed for electrical insulation and cable protection in demanding environments. The tubing is constructed from cross-linked polyolefin material with a nominal 2:1 shrink ratio, featuring a minimum supplied inner diameter of 0.375 inches and a maximum recovered inner diameter of 0.187 inches, with a nominal recovered wall thickness of 0.025 inches. It operates across a temperature range of -55°C to 135°C, achieves full recovery at 121°C, and meets UL Standard 224 and CSA International Standard 198 at 600V rating. The tubing exhibits excellent mechanical properties including a minimum tensile strength of 1500 psi and 200% elongation, along with superior electrical properties such as 500 V/mil dielectric strength and 1×10¹4 ohm-cm volume resistivity. This product is ideal for wire bundling, strain relief, environmental sealing, and electrical insulation in aerospace, automotive, industrial, and telecommunications applications where reliable protection and durability are essential.
