The 71918-164LF is a shrouded electrical header connector from the QUICKIE product family, designed for reliable interconnection in electronic assemblies. It features a 2x8 position (16-pin) configuration with a standard latch mechanism and lead-free plating consisting of 2 µm minimum matte tin over 1.27 µm minimum nickel underplate on the contact area. The housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic material rated UL94V-0, with phosphor bronze pins and a 4.5 mm solder tail for PCB mounting. The connector is RoHS compliant and can withstand exposure to 260°C ±5°C solder bath temperature for 5 seconds in wave solder applications with a minimum 1.6 mm thick circuit board. This connector is commonly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics where secure, polarized connections and compact form factors are required.
