The MJTP1106STR is a 6mm surface-mount momentary tactile pushbutton switch designed for compact electronic applications requiring reliable user input. It features excellent tactile feedback through a snap dome mechanism, single pole-single throw (SPST) momentary operation, and molded-in terminals that minimize flux wicking during soldering. The switch is constructed with a high-temperature nylon case, silver-plated brass terminals, and phosphor bronze or stainless steel shorting contacts with silver plating. Electrically, it provides a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 VDC, contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum at 5 VDC with 10 mA current, and an electrical life of 100,000 cycles minimum.
