AWP-20-7240-T is an IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) socket designed for ribbon cable applications with a 2.54×2.54 mm pitch and central lug configuration. The connector features gold flash selective plating on brass or phosphor bronze contacts with nickel underplate, ensuring reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance. It is constructed from PBT with 30% glass fiber insulation rated UL94V-0, providing excellent mechanical strength and flame resistance. The connector supports a current rating of 1 A per contact, with an insulation resistance of 1000 MO minimum and dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, this connector is suitable for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications where robust, cost-effective interconnection is required.
