CG0402MLC-24LG is a ChipGuard multilayer ESD protector designed to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge damage. It features a typical continuous operating voltage of 24 V, maximum capacitance of 0.5 pF at 1 VRMS 1 MHz, and maximum leakage current of 5 nA, making it nearly transparent under normal working conditions. The device provides ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 with minimum contact discharge of ±8 kV and minimum air discharge of ±15 kV/±25 kV, with a typical clamping voltage of 25 V and maximum response time of 1 ns. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and storage temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, this 0402 package device is ideal for high-speed USB 3.0/USB OTG, HDMI 1.4, DVI, and IEEE1394 applications.
