CG0402MLD-12G is a ChipGuard MLD Series varistor ESD clamp protector designed to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge damage. This device features a 12V continuous operating voltage, low capacitance for invisible load protection, and is rated for IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD specifications. The compact 0402 package measures 1.00 ± 0.15 mm (L) x 0.50 ± 0.10 mm (W) and can withstand multiple ESD strikes with contact discharge capability up to 8 kV and air discharge up to 15 kV. Operating over a temperature range of -30°C to +85°C, this RoHS compliant device is ideal for high-speed data applications where low capacitance and excellent clamping qualities are required.
