CG0603MLC-05LEA is a ChipGuard multilayer ESD protector designed to safeguard sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge damage in high-speed applications. The device is rated for 5V continuous operating voltage and provides IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection with ±8 kV contact discharge and ±15 kV air discharge capability. It features a typical clamping voltage of 25V, maximum capacitance of 0.5 pF, and maximum leakage current of 5 nA, making it nearly transparent to normal circuit operation. The device operates reliably across -40°C to +125°C temperature range and is ideal for protecting USB 3.0/USB OTG, HDMI 1.4, DVI, and SIM card port interfaces where low parasitic effects and fast ESD response are critical.
