CG0603MLC-3.3LE is an ESD protector from Bourns' ChipGuard MLC Series designed to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge damage. The device is rated for 3.3V typical continuous operating voltage with a typical clamping voltage of 25V and maximum leakage current of 5 nA at maximum VDC. It features low capacitance of 0.5 pF maximum and a typical trigger voltage of 250V, providing excellent clamp qualities while remaining nearly transparent under normal working conditions. The device meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD specifications (±8 kV contact discharge, ±15 kV air discharge minimum, ±25 kV air discharge minimum) with a maximum response time of 1 ns. Common applications include HDMI 1.4, USB 3.0/USB OTG, memory protection, SIM card ports, and automotive systems where robust ESD protection is required.
