MOV-07D181K is a 7 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor that protects against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. The device features a nominal varistor voltage of 180 V with a maximum continuous voltage rating of 115 V RMS and 150 V DC, combined with a maximum peak current handling capability of 11.7 A (8/20 µs pulse). It offers fast response times of 10–25 ns, high energy absorption capability of 1200 J, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The varistor is bidirectional, RoHS compliant, and complies with UL 1449 standards, making it suitable for power supplies, power systems, line voltage protection, telecom systems, and white goods applications.
