PTVS2-086C-H is a high current bidirectional TVS diode designed for use in high power DC bus clamping applications. It features a repetitive standoff voltage of 86 V, a breakdown voltage range of 96 V to 105 V, and a peak current rating of 2 kA per 8/20 µs IEC 61000-4-5 surge requirements. The device offers a typical clamping voltage of 99 V at peak surge current, with a typical capacitance of 1.0 nF and standby current of 10 µA. Housed in a surface mount DFN package, it operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is RoHS compliant and halogen free. Common applications include protection against lightning and transient surges, exposed PoE ports, small cell and Remote Radio Units, and high power DC bus protection.
