The SD90ABB is a miniature surface mount thermal cutoff (TCO) device designed for automotive-grade overtemperature and overcurrent protection. It features a trip temperature of 90°C with a minimum reset temperature of 40°C, and is capable of controlling abnormal excessive current virtually instantaneously up to its rated limits. The device is rated for DC 14 V / 8 A continuous operation with 10,000 cycles, and can break DC 14 V / 35 A at 100 cycles, with a maximum voltage rating of DC 28 V / 8 A. It offers high corrosion resistance, is RoHS compliant and halogen-free, and meets AEC-Q200 automotive standards. The SD90ABB is ideal for automotive electrical systems and other applications requiring reliable thermal protection in the -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range.
