SM13117EL is a PoE flyback transformer designed for power-over-Ethernet applications requiring 13 W output power with integrated support for IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE power delivery and PWM control functions. The transformer features a primary inductance of 127 µH at 250 kHz with a turns ratio of 1:0.5:0.5:0.5, delivering 12 Vdc at 1.08 A output from a 36–72 Vdc input at 250 kHz switching frequency. It provides 1.5 kVrms isolation voltage between primary and secondary windings, with a maximum leakage inductance of 2.0 µH and primary DCR of 199 mO. The transformer is constructed with a ferrite core and enameled copper wire, rated UL 94V-0 for the bobbin and UL 1446 Class B insulation system, operating reliably across -40°C to +125°C.
