SMA6J28A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package format. The device features a working peak reverse voltage (VRWM) of 28V with a reverse breakdown voltage range of 31.1V to 34.4V, and delivers 600W peak pulse power dissipation with typical response times less than 1.0 picosecond from 0V to breakdown voltage. It exhibits a maximum reverse surge voltage of 45.4V and reverse current of 13.3A at rated conditions, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. The SMA6J28A is ideal for protecting power buses, I/O interfaces, and sensitive electronics in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer applications where fast transient suppression is critical.
