SMA6J6.5A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package format. The device features a working peak reverse voltage (VRWM) of 6.5V with a minimum peak pulse power dissipation of 600W at 1 ms pulse width, and a peak forward surge current rating of 40A for 8.3 ms single half sine wave. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, the SMA6J6.5A provides typical fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond from 0V to breakdown voltage, with a reverse breakdown voltage range of 7.22V to 7.98V.
