The SMAJ120A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 130 V, breakdown voltage range of 145–159 V, and a peak pulse power dissipation of 400 watts at 1 ms pulse width. The device is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package with fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond, and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. The SMAJ120A is RoHS compliant, UL recognized, and suitable for IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge protection applications.
