SMAJ24A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in compact surface-mount applications. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 22 V, breakdown voltage range of 24.4 to 26.9 V, and a peak pulse power dissipation of 400 watts at 1 ms pulse width. The device is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) package and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, with a steady-state power dissipation capability of 1.0 watt at 75°C lead temperature. The SMAJ24A is RoHS compliant and UL recognized, making it suitable for protecting sensitive electronics in portable communications, computing, and video equipment against transient overvoltage events per IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards.
