The SMBJ64A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. This device features a working peak reverse voltage (V_RWM) of 64 V with a breakdown voltage range of 71.1 V to 78.6 V, and is housed in a compact SMB (DO-214AA) surface mount package. The diode exhibits fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond and provides voltage clamping at 103 V with a maximum peak current rating of 5.9 A and maximum clamping current of 133.9 A.
