TISP61089HDMR-S is a dual forward-conducting buffered P-gate thyristor (SCR) overvoltage protector designed to protect monolithic SLICs (Subscriber Line Interface Circuits) against overvoltages on telephone lines caused by lightning, AC power contact, and induction. It features a low gate triggering current of 15 mA max, high holding current of 150 mA min, and supports battery voltages down to -155 V. The device is rated for GR-1089-CORE Issue 3 conditions with non-repetitive peak impulse currents up to 500 A (2/10 µs) and 100 A (10/1000 µs). It operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and comes in an 8-SOIC (210 mil) package.
