PA18CLD01TO is a diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor designed for general-purpose industrial detection in a compact 18 mm cylindrical PBTP housing. It features a fixed 100 mm rated operating distance with modulated infrared light (880 nm GaAlAs LED) and provides a 2-wire SCR thyristor output with make or break switching capability. The sensor operates on 20 to 250 VAC at 45 to 65 Hz with a continuous output current of 500 mA, high immunity to ambient light (up to 10,000 lux), and LED indication for status monitoring. With an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, IP 67 protection rating, and response times of =20 ms (ON) and =30 ms (OFF), it is well-suited for simple detection tasks in manufacturing, packaging, and material handling applications where reliable, cost-effective sensing is required.
