MC12ED300J-F is a multilayer RF mica chip capacitor designed for high-frequency, high-power applications. It features a capacitance of 30 pF with a rated voltage of 500 Vdc and is housed in a 1210 case size (3.2 mm x 2.5 mm). The capacitor operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and offers extremely high Q at UHF/VHF frequencies with a dV/dt rating of 20,000 V/µs. The natural mica dielectric provides excellent thermal stability and is free from thermal cracking, making it compatible with FR4 boards and wave solderable. Common applications include MRI coils and generators, RF instruments, power amplifiers, tuned LCR circuits, and mobile radio systems.
