The L-2 is a Type L barrier-style terminal block designed for heavy-load terminations in machine, switchboard, and industrial applications. It features a nickel-plated brass terminal bar with 1/4"-20 plated round-head steel screws and is rated for 100A at 600V, with UL recognition for wire up to No. 1 AWG. The phenolic housing has a continuous-use temperature rating of 150°C (302°F), a flammability rating of 94V-1, and provides a terminal-to-terminal breakdown voltage of 11,000V typical and terminal-to-ground breakdown voltage of 9,700V typical. The tightening torque specification is 50 in.-lb., and the maximum lug width is 27/32".
