AL1G is a standard avalanche SMD rectifier diode designed for 50/60 Hz mains rectification, power supplies, and polarity protection applications. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 400 V with a reverse avalanche breakdown voltage (VRSM) greater than 450 V at 1 mA, and is housed in a DO-213AA plastic MiniMELF package compatible with SOD-87. The diode exhibits controlled avalanche characteristics with a maximum average forward current of 1 A at 75°C, forward voltage less than 1.2 V at 1 A, and typical reverse recovery time of 1500 ns. Additional key parameters include a junction capacitance of 4 pF, thermal resistance of 75 K/W (junction to ambient) and 40 K/W (junction to terminal), and non-repetitive peak reverse avalanche energy of 20 mJ.
