P4SMAJ7.0 is an SMD transient voltage suppressor diode designed for overvoltage and ESD protection in commercial and industrial applications. It features a stand-off voltage (VWM) of 7.0 V with a breakdown voltage (VBR) of 8.7 V, and delivers a peak pulse power dissipation of 400 W under a 10/1000 µs waveform. The device operates with a maximum junction temperature of 150°C and provides steady-state power dissipation of 1 W at 75°C, with a typical thermal resistance of 70 K/W from junction to ambient. The unidirectional variant (P4SMAJ7.0A) is housed in an SMA package (DO-214AC equivalent) and offers very fast response time for transient suppression. This diode is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits against voltage spikes, free-wheeling applications, and ESD events in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and telecommunications systems.
