The 1620-3-20A is a single pole thermal miniaturized circuit breaker designed for automotive applications, featuring a reset button and manual release facility (SAE type 3H configuration). It is rated for DC 12V and DC 24V operation with a maximum voltage rating of DC 29.0V, and is specifically designed to fit into fuse blocks conforming to ISO 8820-3, Type F. The device has a current rating of 20A with a voltage drop of less than 150mV, and operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It meets SAE J553 requirements and provides service short-circuit breaking capacity of 300 operations at 2× rated current, with an ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of at least 3 break operations at 150A or 1 break operation at 2,000A.
