GFA-5 is a sub-miniature PC board fuse with axial leads designed for protection of subminiature devices in electronic circuits. It features a non-time-delay characteristic with a 5-ampere rating at 125 volts AC, an interrupting rating of 50 AIC, and is housed in a glass tube measuring 0.145" × 0.300" (3.7 mm × 7.6 mm). The fuse is color-coded with brown and black bands at opposite ends for easy identification and has tinned wire leads (1½" length) that solder directly into circuits. It withstands high-shock and vibration environments and is UL recognized and CSA certified, making it suitable for printed circuit board applications requiring reliable overcurrent protection.
